Agreeing to these Terms
By using this website or booking a treatment with Alami Holistics, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our privacy information below. We may update them from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or book a treatment.
About Alami Holistics
Alami Holistics is run by Anna Sitorus and offers reflexology, therapeutic massage, holistic facials, Indian head massage and Reiki from the Alami Cabin at 17 Church St, Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot TQ12 3BQ. You can contact me on 07887 738637 or at anna@alamiholistics.co.uk
Booking and Payment
Treatments can be booked online or by contacting me directly. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. Payment is taken either online before your booking or at your appointment. Prices are shown on the treatment and booking pages and may change, but the price shown when you book is the price you pay.
Cancellations and Late Arrivals
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please let me know at least 24 hours beforehand. Appointments cancelled with less notice, or missed, may be charged at the full price. If you arrive late, your treatment may need to be shortened so that I can keep to the time of the next client, and the full price will still apply.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers can be used for treatments only. They are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, cannot be exchanged for cash and are not refundable. Please bring your voucher when you book.
Your Health and Wellbeing
Reflexology, massage, facials, Indian head massage and Reiki are complementary therapies. They are not a substitute for medical care and I do not diagnose, treat or cure any medical condition. Before your first treatment I will ask about your health, and it is important that you tell me about anything relevant, including pregnancy, injuries, skin conditions, allergies, medication and any recent surgery. In some cases I may ask you to check with your GP first, or I may need to adapt or decline a treatment for your safety.
Skincare Used in Treatments
I use my own handmade skincare in treatments, made with natural ingredients, along with other natural brands. Natural ingredients can still cause reactions in some people, and some allergens occur naturally in essential oils. Some products contain nut oils. Please tell me about any allergies or sensitivities before your treatment, and let me know if you have very sensitive skin so we can do a patch test. If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, please check with your doctor or midwife first.
Finding the Cabin
Please do not use the front door of the house on Church St. The cabin entrance is on Berry Lane, the first gate on the left off Sandpath Road. If the gate is locked, please wait outside and call or text 07887 738637. Parking is available on Sandpath Road, and I will contact you with directions to arrange using my private parking space
Privacy
I collect only the information I need to take bookings, answer your questions, keep a record of your treatments and contact you about your appointments. This may include your name, contact details, health information you share with me and your appointment history. I do not store card details. Your information is not sold, and I do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it, or it is needed to run my booking and payment systems.
If you join the mailing list, I will send you news and offers about my treatments. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting me.
You have the right to ask to see the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how it is used. Please contact me to do any of these. If you are not happy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website uses cookies to help it work properly and to improve your experience. They are not used to collect personal details such as your name or address. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Changes and governing Law
I may update these terms from time to time. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
