Traditional Indian Head Massage

Service Description

A traditional Indian head massage in Kingsteignton, near Newton Abbot, Devon. One hour of focused work on your shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face, finished lying back on a zero gravity chair so you can really let go. WHAT TO EXPECT Indian head massage is an ancient Ayurvedic treatment from India. The treatment starts seated, the traditional way, and you stay fully clothed, so please wear something loose and comfortable. I use 100% natural oils that I blend by hand, but if you'd rather not have oil in your hair, I can do the whole treatment without it. Just let me know. A cup of herbal tea can be sipped during the treatment. Once the seated part is done, you move to the zero gravity chair, where I work on your scalp and face while you deeply relax. The last five minutes or so can finish with a foot massage or Reiki if you'd like it. It's completely optional. WHY DO PEOPLE BOOK INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE? Many clients tell me it helps them release tension in the head, neck and shoulders, switch off after a busy or stressful time, and feel calmer and lighter afterwards. It is a complementary therapy, so it sits alongside medical care and doesn't replace it. COMBINE IT Indian head massage works well with reflexology for a longer 90 minute treatment. See Reflexology with Indian Head Massage. ABOUT YOUR THERAPIST I hold a diploma in Indian head massage and I'm fully insured. WHERE TO FIND ME Alami Holistics is in Kingsteignton, a short drive from Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and Torquay. Parking is available with a short walk. The entrance is on Berry Lane, near the picturesque leat.
