Therapeutic Massage

Service Description

Therapeutic massage in Kingsteignton: release tension and deeply relax Enjoy a deeply relaxing, therapeutic massage focused on your back, neck and shoulders, using a range of techniques and pressure. If you'd like, I can also include your arms, hands, face and head. This hour-long treatment is bespoke to what you need, from a firmer, more focused massage to a gentler, more relaxing one, and I use my own handmade bespoke massage oils. Why do people book therapeutic massage? Many clients come when their shoulders, neck or back feel tight from desk work, exercise or stress. Clients often tell me they leave feeling looser, calmer and more relaxed. Massage is a complementary therapy, so it sits alongside medical care and doesn't replace it. What to expect Your first visit starts with a free 15 minute consultation, on top of your one-hour treatment, where we talk about how you're feeling and any areas you'd like me to focus on or avoid. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing. You can tell me at any point if you'd like the pressure lighter or firmer, and afterwards you'll be offered a herbal tea or water. How often should I come? How often you come is really up to you. Some clients book weekly, others every few weeks or monthly, depending on what suits them. A single treatment is also a lovely way to relax and reset. About your therapist I'm fully qualified with a Level 3 diploma. Who is it for? Therapeutic massage suits most people. If you're pregnant, have an injury, a medical condition or are on medication, let me know when you book so I can check it's suitable. Price and booking One hour, £50. Frequently asked questions Will it hurt? It shouldn't. I use a range of pressure and adjust it to you throughout. What should I wear? Loose, comfortable clothing.
